Attorney Nick Heimlich will be attending as a director of the non-profit Mission-West Valley Land Corporation during its meeting at 5:00 PM. This is a Public meeting, with the exception of closed session. More information, such as location and agenda, can be found at: http://landcorp.wvm.edu/.

The Land Corporation provides financial assistance to West Valley and Mission Community Colleges for both students and faculty. I’m proud to serve the Bay Area community as director of the Land Corporation.

I entered into a membership contract that had unreasonable cancellation requirements. I went to Nick through my company’s employee assistance program. Nick did thorough research and found that the contract term exceeded term limits allowed by California law. As a result, I was able to cancel the contract without any penalty.
